MetPrep Ltd was founded more than 20 years ago as a specialist supplier to metallurgical laboratories of metallographic equipment, microscopes. Our current staff includes a technical team of 6 and a support tema of 6, all having a substantial background in metallurgy or chemistry, and a support team of four office and warehouse staff.

The philosophy is that no-one works on a commission basis; consequently there is no pressure to sell and our customers benefit. MetPrep's reputation is important to us so we use our cumulative knowledge, expertise and to get the job done well and on time, offering impartial advice on the choice of products.

Our aim is to offer the best quality materials that are available, and to deliver them in 24 hours of the order being placed. Quality is pursued by constantly looking for new and improved products.

This range includes a complete family of cut off machines for applications where precision and low deformation is required to very large utility machines for castings and forgings. We offer encapsulation to hold specimens and metallurgical preparation by a variety of surfaces and grinding techniques either manually or automatic.
